Life is but a mist.
I must make each day count,
Though some days not so sweet
I must continue on.
Life is but a mist.
An ocean wave in constant move;
Eternal, tender, meek
‘Til we’re back in our Father’s Room.
Life is but a mist.
It’s here today and gone tomorrow.
Yet its memories run so deep
In a path others will follow.
Life is but a mist.
So short and not so long.
From God a precious gift,
A short time to belong.
Honor, majesty, glory;
Its essence we ought not miss.
We must live a worthy story
Because life is but a mist.
